Development Coordinator:  EmergyCare is seeking a development coordinator to work within our Community Development Department.  The position will hav responsibility for fundraising special events, annual fund, sponsorship, major gifts and endowment.  See full posting below.

Current Opportunity (November 1 - 30, 2017)

EmergyCare has been awarded a grant from the Women’s Fund of the Erie Community Foundation.   The grant will provide funding for scholarships that will provide two women with the opportunity to begin a career in Emergency Medical Services by covering the costs of tuition, books, and exams for EMT certification ($997.50).  Candidates who pass the National Registry Certification Exam, become certified in Pennsylvania and successfully complete their 90 day probationary training period with EmergyCare will be offered full time positions with benefits.  See full application package below.

CRITERIA 

Applicants should be female from Erie County, PA and a citizen or legal permanent resident of the United States.

Applicants must meet the qualifications to become an EMT.

Applicants must complete and submit a Scholarship Application by November 30, 2017 (see PDF at bottom of page).  

Applicants must be able to participate in the EMT Training program January 9- May 3, 2018 (held Tuesday and Thursday evenings and alternating Saturdays).
